The Hung Foundation and the 700 Art and Antiques Gallery present a selection of the artist's intimate works, showing a variety of his pictorial periods from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Works whose progress and research by the artist is reflected in his multiple manifestations of language traced both on canvas and on paper, a facet that shows an intimate and familiar side of Hung.
Hung: Gestural Symphony
The Universidad Rafael Urdaneta inaugurated in its Aula Magna, the exhibition "Hung: Gestural Symphony".
On the 50th anniversary of the prestigious University, a grand Cultural Gala was held leading up to the opening of the exhibition «Hung: Gestural Symphony» in October 2023. The gala was marked by music, dance, theater, art and culture.
Attendees enjoyed the opening of the exhibition and the premiere of the «Cantata Urdaneta» by the son of the artist Yuri Hung, with the Rafael Urdaneta University Philharmonic, the Rafael Urdaneta University Choral Society, University Dance and University Theater.
